Having toiled for many years without a good job, I had to go for a desperate measure. My friend is trying to sell pre owned cell phones to some of my relatives behind my back and since most of them know how close we are they have been buying from her. I actually do not have a problem with it since I know that she wouldn’t ruin her reputation and credibility just to make money hence, I am sure that the hand phones that she is selling are still in good condition. Nevertheless, I feel offended that she didn’t tell me what she was doing especially since my relatives are involved.

LinkedIn has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Before when I had a low-level managerial job, I was not able to create any personal connections with upper management. I wouldn't have found the graphic design agency I use today, for example, without this social network.

Within days of creating my LinkedIn account, I had befriended 7 of the 8 Board of Directors in my company. I have been able to connect with them on a personal level that would have taken me years to develop through traditional means. However, I did find LinkedIn to be less rewarding than places like Facebook, where you are able to view a multitude of pictures and events occurring. I do prefer the added security of a LinkedIn account, where I feel that I am able to more easily control my privacy settings so that certain individuals do not see unwanted information. Overall, LinkedIn was a great experience for me. I promise you, it will help you open doors you never thought were even possible. So get out there and start befriending co-workers!

I am not a serious person. I wonder how my daughter is one, the girl is a perfectionist and she never settles until she does what she is doing to the best of her ability. She even asked me if I could allow her to see sport psychologists so that she can better her game in tennis. She never allows distractions from other avenues. Especially boys, there was a time she liked this one boy and this distracted her for a while.
