Ebay and it's lack of care for the customer

I have been trying to get some assistance with an issue listing ebay items. I've never tried to list an item for sale before on it, I have bought plenty to date, but when it comes to selling I'm a complete newbie. I have spent hours trying to get a single item listed, and am still not getting any nearer to completing it. Everytime there seems to another issue with the listing details. I have tried to find an ebay help center phone number so I can talk to an 'expert' but that has been pretty impossible to date. The numbers that I have been lucky enough to find have been through to an automated line which isn't useful in the slightest. They are money grabbing so and so's who aren't interested in the people that use their service, just the money they get off them. You would of thought getting peoples items listed would be one of their highest priorities as that means more revenue for them. I guess the cost probably outweighs the gain in their eyes.
