The recent completion of my project required the marketing of a website related to drugs. Since our target customers were localities across the country, we used the channel of email broadcasting first. Data/leads were collected from various sources (that of doctors), then we used various methods to reach them. Our telecaller made calls on a daily target and spoke about the product with offering a free information/sms package. We sent bulkmails, too. And yes, we made use of the local newspapers to reach to a wide range of customers. Press conferences were held in a number of places across the country and pressmen were called. We used the web, too of course. Ads and links were posted in various social networking sites of all the employees. We had given our contact details with industry/category in some premium yellow pages who listed the product. We ensured that site contains the keywords related to all the relevant searches. We had industry news as well in the site uploaded by a Content Developer which enhances the searches.
