When Rudy arrived home, he saw his daughter, Diane, crying in one corner. What's wrong honey? he asked her. Diane looked up and when she saw it was her dad, she stood up and hugged her dad tightly. In between sobs, Diane managed to say, Mom and I had a huge fight. Rudy was worried because it is not like her wife, Lyn, to be so mad. He knew that something was terribly wrong. Why? What happened? Rudy asked. It's about Billy. She found out that Billy and I have been going out and she told me to stop seeing Billy. I can't do that, dad. I love Billy. As calmly as he could, Rudy tried to make Diane understand why her mom is upset. Your mom and I trust you, honey. But you are only thirteen for crying out loud! Please try to understand that we are only trying to protect you. If I have to hamper gifts from Billy, I would. I would do anything to make sure that you'll be safe. Diane realized soon after that her parents are only after her welfare. |

I am not a serious person. I wonder how my daughter is one, the girl is a perfectionist and she never settles until she does what she is doing to the best of her ability. When she knows she cannot make something good by her own, she is going to ask for extra help. She is in to tennis playing and she is naturally a winner. She even asked me if I could allow her to see sport psychologists so that she can better her game in tennis. I allowed her but I do not think they would tell her to do something that she is not already doing. She is just fourteen years old but she is very committed to tennis. She never allows distractions from other avenues. Especially boys, there was a time she liked this one boy and this distracted her for a while. So what she did was get tennis players boy friends that she would benefit from them. She never got distracted when she was with them and this helped her a lot. |

Last Mothers' Day, Carmen and her sisters made sure to make their mom very happy. Having lost their dad the previous year, the girls made a pact that they will do everything they can to make their mom feel how special and loved she is. Under Carmen's leadership, the girls planned early on what activities they would do on that special day. The first thing they agreed on was to bring their mom to a spa where she could enjoy long hours of Swedish massage - her favorite. After that, they plan to bring her to the mall, so that they could pamper gifts for her by shopping for some new clothes, a nice pair of shoes and a pretty hand bag, maybe. Of course, they are all dining out in mom's favorite Chinese restaurant. It was going to be hassle-free day for their mom. When everything was set, the girls got busy making phone calls and making reservations. They wanted everything to be perfect on that day for their beloved mother. True enough, Carmen and her sisters made their mom the happiest mother on earth on Mothers' Day. |

Just the other day, I and my friends got a rare opportunity to hang out after work. Everyone seemed very busy for the past weeks and we rarely had time to chat in the office. It was understandable though, since everyone at work got busy with preparations for re-accreditation which was scheduled about a week ago. The good news is we passed the test and the agency has granted our company a seal of reaccreditation good for another five years. As our way to celebrate for all our efforts, we decided to hang out at our favorite bar, just a few blocks away from the office. While we were out, Liza announced to everyone how excited she was for Christmas. While we thought that it was too early to talk about the holiday season, we caught ourselves enjoying the topic so much. I shared to the group how gifts for nieces from aunts made me very happy when I was a child. Donna also shared her own unforgettable childhood memories of Christmas and so did Sharon. Reminiscing good memories never fails to make me smile. |

Some people mistake fishing to be a very monotonous and vapid outdoor activity. They assume that it is limited to sitting on a boat until some poor little fish gets caught in your net or in your line, then you cook it and go home.
But ask any bonafide fisherman and they’ll outright tell you that that misconception is dead wrong! Fishing is nothing at all like sitting pretty on a boat, waiting for a catch it’s about being patient and, when the time is right, being strong and stable enough to reel in a good catch. At the same time, appreciating the wonders of the world around you.
If you truly want to experience the best time on your fishing trip, one thing you can do is to hire a fishing guide lake texoma. They can meet all your needs, and make sure that your trip is a fun and unforgettable one, whether you come alone or as a big group. With the help of a fishing guide, your day in the great outdoors will surely be a memorable one. |

My son has never been so good in school work like he is with sports. After high school, I did not enroll him to the university like most of his friends because I knew he did not like studying so much. I looked for a sport psychologist instead to train my son everything he wanted to learn in sports. I paid so much to the guy but it was worthy it considering how happy my son is now. He was given motivation in sport as he played and this was a chance he had always wanted in his life. After training, he was recruited to play soccer in one of the soccer clubs in the country. He is now playing in the national team. So many parents force their children to study in colleges when these children are so much interested in sports. Sport can earn a living equally, just like a career. Its better when a child is doing what he/she likes best because they will perform well instead of imposing our feelings and wants to our children. |
