There is Dignity in Selling Pre-Owned Cell Phones

My friend is trying to sell pre owned cell phones to some of my relatives behind my back and since most of them know how close we are they have been buying from her. I actually do not have a problem with it since I know that she wouldn’t ruin her reputation and credibility just to make money hence, I am sure that the hand phones that she is selling are still in good condition. Nevertheless, I feel offended that she didn’t tell me what she was doing especially since my relatives are involved.
I felt cheated and lied to but when I confronted her about it, I learned that she was actually embarrassed to ask for my help or to let me know that she is struggling financially. I told her that there is no reason for her to feel that way since she is earning a decent living and that she is not doing anything wrong. We promised from then on not to keep anymore secrets from each other.
